Holyn Handley Reclaims the Throw Pink Championship | 2026 USDGC & TPWDGC Recap

Throw Pink Women's Disc Golf Championship

Championship week returned to Rock Hill, as the 2026 United States Disc Golf Championship (USDGC) and Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship (TPWDGC) brought the world's best players to one of disc golf's most iconic venues. Across four rounds of demanding competition, Team Discraft delivered plenty of memorable moments, but the biggest belonged to Holyn Handley.

With a remarkable performance and a battle that came down to the final hole, Holyn captured her second Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship title, adding another milestone to an already impressive 2026 season.

A Champion Returns to Winthrop

Three years after claiming her first Throw Pink title in 2023, Holyn Handley returned to the top of the leaderboard at Winthrop! Holyn wasted no time establishing herself as a championship contender, opening the tournament with an outstanding 11-under-par round that set the pace for the weekend. But as the competition progressed, the battle for the title intensified, setting up a dramatic Championship Sunday against Ohn Scoggins.

Entering the final round just one stroke behind, Holyn faced a demanding test of patience, execution, and composure. With momentum shifting throughout the afternoon, every shot became increasingly important. An eagle on Hole 8 helped keep her in contention, while a strong performance down the stretch put the championship within reach.
