Every fall, we look forward to one of our favorite traditions: the Discraft Pumpkin Carving Contest! It’s our way of celebrating the season and giving disc golfers a chance to show off their creative side. Whether you’re carving a classic jack-o’-lantern or pushing the limits with a disc-inspired masterpiece, this contest is all about bringing the community together through fun and creativity.



How It Works

The rules are simple: carve your pumpkin with a design related to disc golf, Discraft, or our brand characters, then submit your entry! Each person can enter one pumpkin, and submissions will open October 3rd and run through October 31st.


Once all entries are in, the Discraft team will review submissions and post finalists for community voting. Voting will run for one week on our poll unit site, so fans everywhere can help choose their favorite design. The winners will be announced shortly after voting closes, and prizes will be shipped directly to the champions.

A Look Back


Over the years, we’ve seen some jaw-dropping carvings that went way beyond the typical toothy grin. From spooky Buzzz logos glowing in the night, to intricate recreations of player portraits, to 3D-style carvings that practically jumped off the pumpkin, our community has delivered time and time again.


Some of our favorites include:

  • The Luna Lantern – A pumpkin carved with Paul McBeth’s Luna logo, complete with a glowing crescent moon.

  • Chains of Fright – A creative carving where the pumpkin’s insides were sculpted into mini “chains” like a disc golf basket.

  • Buzzz-o’-Lantern – An incredibly detailed carving of the iconic Buzzz bee, wings and all, lit up like it was ready to take flight.


These highlights remind us why we host the contest: to celebrate disc golf in the most playful, seasonal way possible.
