Sintija Takes Over at Maple Hill
Sintija Klezberga continued an impressive 2026 campaign with a breakthrough performance at the MVP Open.
She remained within striking distance early in the tournament, sitting fourth after two rounds before making her move on Saturday. Klezberga climbed into first place during Round 3, separating herself from the field and entering the final stretch of the event with the lead.
From there, she finished the job. This victory adds another milestone to a season that has already seen Klezberga competing near the top of major events and Elite Series fields throughout the year.
On one of the biggest stages of the DGPT season, she delivered when it mattered most.
Wysocki Returns to the Top at Maple Hill
On the MPO side, Ricky Wysocki established himself at the front of the field early. By the end of Round 2, Wysocki had built a four-stroke advantage, and he maintained the lead through despite Maple Hill continuing to test every part of the competitors' games. The win adds another chapter to Wysocki's history at Maple Hill. He previously captured the event in 2017 and entered this year's tournament coming off a third-place finish at the 2025 MVP Open. Nine years after his previous victory at the event, Ricky was back on top!

The two trophies told the biggest story of the weekend, but Team Discraft's impact stretched well beyond the winners at the 2026 MVP Open. Across both divisions, Discraft athletes remained in contention throughout the tournament.
That depth carried into the weekend and made Maple Hill another showcase of the strength across Team Discraft. From athletes battling on feature and lead cards to the two players who ultimately finished at the top, it was a weekend defined by Team Discraft being in the mix from start to finish.
Winning at Maple Hill is never easy. Doing it in across both divisions makes the 2026 MVP Open one that Team Discraft won't soon forget. Congratulations to Sintija Klezberga and Ricky Wysocki on their MVP Open victories, and to every Team Discraft athlete who represented the team throughout the weekend. Shop the Victory Edition discs when they drop on the Discraft Factory Store 10/2 at 12 PM EDT.
