Last year’s Ace Race brought out thousands of players chasing aces on a prototype disc—and this year promises to raise the bar even higher! We saw tons of events, heard incredible stories and witnessed an unbeatable community vibe. Now, the 2025 Ace Race is here, and registration is officially open!



Meet the 2025 Ace Race Disc


This year’s mold pays homage to a fan-favorite; the Glide and turns it into one smooth flyer with just enough stability to keep it on line. Crafted in a tacky prototype material for this year's run, it offers:


  • Optimal Grip: The tacky plastic ensures your hand never slips—even in humid or rainy conditions.

  • Flip-to-Flat Precision: Gently flips over to flat before a controlled turnover, so you can confidently thread the basket.

  • Power-Friendly Flight: Thrown with authority, it resists flipping too far, holding its line for that perfect ace shot.


Flight Characteristics

Like the classic Glide, this Ace Race disc soars effortlessly down the fairway, turning gently when thrown with anhyzer or if have have a powerful throw, you can expect a smooth, predictable turnover when thrown flat. This disc holds its line just a bit longer under heavy power, resisting an overflip so you can trust it to finish straight to the basket rather than fading out. Whether you need a dependable turnover or a controlled hyzerflip that hugs the ground, this disc delivers the signature Glide distance and ease.

Becoming an Ace Race Host is quick and easy—here’s all you need to do:


  1. Register Your Event

  2. Set Your Date & Venue

    • Choose any course/date between now and April 30th, 2026.

  3. Promote Your Event

    • Use our customizable social-media kit to spread the word. If you would like posters sent to you prior to your event, please select *Receive Poster when creating an filling out your application form on https://www.discgolfacerace.com/td-info

  4. Run the Race & Report Results

    • Host the ace race however you'd like! We provide simple instructions for a general layout but this is your chance as a TD to show off your creativity and highlight different aspects of your course. Afterwards, if you submit a video or photo from the event, you will be entered into our giveaway for a Chainstar Lite at the end of the Ace Race event!
