The 2026 DGPT season is officially underway, and the opener delivered everything you want: pressure, momentum swings, and a statement finish. Held at Olympus Disc Golf Course, the Supreme Flight Open has quickly become a staple season-start event. This weekend, though, belonged to Ricky Wysocki.

The End of a Drought
Ending a 581-day drought, Ricky Wysocki captured the MPO title at the 2026 Supreme Flight Open, finishing (-24) to win by a single stroke over Gannon Buhr, with Paul McBeth close behind in third place. Following up on Day 1 with a single bogey, there was a big turning point in Round 2, when Wysocki posted a bogey-free blistering 54 (course record at the time) to seize control of the leaderboard. From there, it became a test of execution and composure, exactly the kind of stage where Ricky has built his legacy.

And for us at Discraft, this marks an even bigger milestone: this win is Ricky’s first major signature moment since joining our Elite Team.

Team Spotlight
Team Discraft showed up early and the Supreme Flight Open made it obvious this season is going to be a fight from the first tee. Taylor Chocek didn’t just contend, she announced herself. After surging into position during the weekend and pushing into the very top of the leaderboard, Chocek got her first DGPT lead card appearance, turning the season opener into a breakout moment. Even better: she did it the hard way—jumping from the chase card into the solo lead during the event’s biggest pressure stretch, proving she’s ready for the big moments on tour. Holyn Handley battled every round and stayed steady through all three days. There was no panic, just consistent pressure and controlled scoring when it mattered.
While Ricky’s win was the headline, the Team Discraft depth behind it made this opener a statement:
FPO | MPO |
Holyn Handley - T2 | Ricky Wysocki - 1st Place |
Taylor Chocek - T2 | Paul McBeth - 3rd Place |
Missy Gannon - 5th Place | Adam Hammes - 7th Place |
Hanna Huynh - 9th Place | Ezra Robinson - T9 |
Valerie Mandujano - T13 | Andrew Presnell - T9 |
Paige Pierce - T19 | Evan Smith - T9 |
Addison Woodard - T19 |
