Favorite Courses

Flyboy Aviation, Whitesburg, GA. Alas, now extinct, but a huge variety of shot shapes and distances and 27 holes of pure fun.

Warwick Town Park, Warwick, NY -- One of the most challenging and fair layouts I’ve ever played in a beautiful and rugged setting. Some of the holes have literally taken me five years to figure out an optimal play, and the puzzle's complexity keeps me coming back.

Your go-to Driver?

I love jamming on a Z Undertaker; I'm carrying three of them in varying states of wear. For a straight fairway driver in the woods, I've never found a better one. When they're fresh I can throw them flat with a little bit of left-finish; after one has been worked in it becomes a hyzer-flip machine. This disc could be an overstable driver for a new player to grow into, or a very controllable fairway driver for more experienced arms.

How about your main Mid-range?

ESP Comet: I carry 3 Comets in a variety of stabilities. For shredding the woods and throwing straight glidey shots, there is no midrange like the Comet. I like that this disc doesn’t put up with nonsense--it goes where I throw it. This unique disc is a viable disc for all skill levels!

What about Your Putter?

Soft X Roach -- The Roach is my go-to putter. Brand new they’re straight, but after a little while they get flippy - ideal for soft approaches, turnover shots, and keeping putts straight all the way to the basket. If you like a neutral-flying putter without a bead, a soft X Roach is a great option.
