The 2025 Cascade Challenge brought electric performances, tight battles, and when the dust settled—a full Team Discraft sweep. With Missy Gannon taking home the FPO title and Anthony Barela clinching victory in the MPO division, Discraft athletes left no doubt about who owned the weekend in Washington. From statement rounds to clutch putts, this event had it all.

Missy Gannon Goes Back-to-Back

Fresh off her PDGA Champions Cup win, Missy Gannon delivered another dominant performance at the Cascade Challenge. After a solid opening round left her tied for 3rd, Gannon gained momentum in round two to climb into 2nd place. But it was her scorching final round of -10 that sealed the deal—launching her six strokes ahead of the field and securing back-to-back victories in two premier events.

Missy’s Tools of the Trade: Meteor & Undertaker

The Meteor is Missy’s go-to for smooth turnovers and controlled touch shots in the woods. Its understable flight allows for late flip-ups and effortless glide, making it a versatile option for players of all skill levels. Whether you're shaping lines through tight fairways or looking for a consistent midrange to complement your bag, the Meteor delivers. The Undertaker brings reliable distance with just the right amount of turn and fade, perfect for straight-to-fade fairway shots or subtle hyzer-flips. It’s a staple in Missy’s long-game arsenal, and for everyday players, it offers control and trust without needing elite arm speed.

Anthony Barela Breaks Through

The win at the Cascade Challenge marks Anthony Barela’s first victory of the 2025 season and his fifth since the start of 2024. While the early season brought its share of challenges, AB silenced all doubts with a commanding final round. He birdied the first five holes and caught fire on the back 9—bagging six birdies and finishing the round at -9. Barela’s putting was locked in when it mattered most.

He missed just two putts the entire round—one inside C1x and one from Circle 2—highlighting his focus and finishing strength. His flawless 4-for-4 finish down the stretch was the exclamation point on a performance that reminds everyone why AB is one of the most dangerous players in the game.

Throwing with Confidence: CT Focus & Cigarra

The CT Focus helps AB stay dialed in on the green. This stable, glidey putter holds the line and finishes clean—perfect for confident putters or those looking to clean up their approach game. In the CT (Crazy Tuff) blend, it adds a touch of grip and stiffness that gives players a strong, controlled release in all conditions.

Then there’s the Cigarra—a glide-heavy fairway driver that bridges the gap between midrange precision and distance driver speed. It’s one of the smoothest flyers in the game, offering effortless distance for players who rely on timing and clean angles. Whether you’re pushing down tunnel shots or hunting straight lines in the woods, the Cigarra gives you the same control AB leaned on to jumpstart his season.
